My siblings & I are all adults & they still resent me for the fact that I was the only one who wasn’t beat up by my father when we were kids. Imagine if I resented them for not experiencing the sexual abuse I endured. Such stupid logic fr.

I’m in a similar boat to you. I grew up in a very toxic household, but I experienced less abuse than some of my siblings, not because I deserved it more, but because circumstances changed as we got older and my siblings actively tried to protect me. They didn’t want me to go through what they did. Resenting a sibling for not being abused usually points to unprocessed trauma. They need therapy.

yeah they need to heal. You’d think they’d experience some type of relief that at least one of us wasn’t affected. I still experience abuse by the hands of them & my mother which they’ll always downplay. But I have pics where I was a minor with a busted lip & swollen eyes from my adult sibling punching me repeatedly. but they don’t believe in therapy so the trauma will most likely stay unprocessed.

yeah, it seems like they’re just gonna follow in your parents footsteps which at that point it’s best just to cut them off sadly.
