that’s what happens when eugenics is normalized and caring about other people isn’t a priority. capitalism gives no incentive to care about others, only the opposite. remember at the start of the pandemic when everyone said it was fine that we sacrifice the elderly and vulnerable just so we don’t have to be inconvenienced by isolation and masks? vanessa hudgens really said the quiet part out loud

A government existing isn’t socialism. Socialism is about state control of production. Communism actually comes from socialist theory, which is why people compare them.

That’s not the definition 😭 Socialism is collective or state ownership of the means of production. Communism is the classless system described by Karl Marx that develops from socialist theory. The input vs production thing you’re saying isn’t actually how political scientists define it. That’s mixing economic jargon with ideology

Many scholars agree true communism hasn’t existed because the theory describes a stateless, classless society. But that still doesn’t make the input vs production distinction correct. That isn’t the standard definition used in political science.
