Yea I don’t get that. Some guys want that and some guys aren’t even thinking about it. I personally don’t care for a housewife but I wouldn’t be opposed to a woman wanting that lifestyle.

Yeah there’s a study on this, woman are more likely to seek out partners that share core values, men don’t really care as much, I wonder if it comes from this fantasy, its weird tho because there’s another study that showed that sharing core values/ideas on gender roles does lead to more satisfying and longer marriages that these types that don’t

Its just interesting because from what I’ve seen the men that do what OP is describing don’t have very favorable opinions on divorce, so it seems like a trap and control operation

That definitely sounds accurate. There are men who think about this but I honestly would just want a happy relationship. Hustler mentality in a woman is so attractive to me but if she wants to attend to the home then I’d try my hardest to make that lifestyle happen. Regardless, that convo should happen before marriage
