ive heard good things abt praying mantises (they do need live food tho), hissing roaches, types of tarantulas, whipspiders/tailless whip scorpions, but especially isopods or darkling beetles (mealworms) are pretty hardy and easy to start with. some people also say to grab a few pillbugs or a cricket from outside to see what its like caring for a bug before putting money towards one,, idk i hope this helps!
