Actually, thats misinfo that worsened the scandal. He wasn’t jerking it in broad daylight at a screening of a regular movie, the guy was at a porno theater which were more common in the 80s/90s. And guys jerking at porn theaters was exceedingly common, it became a scandal was bc he was a kids entertainer and watching gay porn. The AIDs crisis and gay panic led to him being forced to abandon the Peewee character for years. He was a nice gay tv personality, not a predator
