The real problem isn’t health insurance companies or the health industry. It’s the fact that too many Americans live unhealthy lifestyles. If people just ate healthy food and exercised more often it would help the U.S.A. much more than any regulation.

“The companies turning basic human rights to access healthcare in a for-profit industry that routinely denies life-saving medication and treatments aren’t the problem. It’s the victims who are at fault.” Dumbass take on things you don’t understand.

People being fat isn’t why ambulances cost $1000 if you’re uninsured

Yeah this administration isn’t trying to kill the poors at all through reducing labor, health & safety regulations and oversight. Your interpretation also entirely ignores the existence of food deserts (google it). Reagan sold out the general populace and labeled it a good thing, they fell for it and still do no president after him has successfully reversed his BS. The wealth share of the rich has grown from the top 5% holding 58% during Reagan to the top 5% holding 70% of wealth.

I got into an accident and the 15 minute actual not waiting period in my 3 hour ER visit, for my CT scan. Resulted in me getting billed 1k per minute. Can’t eat salads to fix that lmao

Im sorry to hear that. But because a majority of Americans don’t have your lifestyle, it is them who are making it more expensive for you. If more people were healthy, you could have received even more care for cheaper. Instead, those doctors are focusing on smokers and alcoholics. Not you.

They are still choosing to profit off of me and those people. A good example would be my friend with type one diabetes that is a whole seperate branch of drug and he’s healthy besides that but it costs thousands of dollars why? Because they are using it to profit off of people

Healthcare costs are based on the supply and demand. You and your friend may have unpreventable illnesses, but the majority of people suffer from preventable illnesses. If this majority was significantly reduced, demand for healthcare would fall. This would decrease prices for people like you and your friend.

Nope. It’s health insurance companies standing in the way. They should not exist, period.

Health insurance pays out around 90 cents for each dollar they take in. Even at 1:1 your healthcare cost would decrease by around 10%. Likely even less because people need to pay out of pocket. On the other hand, 80% of chronic illnesses are considered preventable. If even 3/4 of those people had a healthy lifestyle, healthcare prices would have fallen by 40%.

Health insurance should not exist, period. It prevents access to lifesaving medication and treatment.

It’s like you missed the whole point of my argument. Even if we eliminated insurance completely healthcare costs would decrease by 10% maximum. If we become more healthy we can decrease costs by over 50%.

Or we could just not charge for healthcare at all, because everyone deserves access to care regardless of finances. It’s not difficult.

Our current economic divide is worse than that of the Great Depression, and is actually very similar to Feudal England when lords ruled the land and the general people were all sharecroppers (renters). We even have companies like Amazon trying to bring back the factory town.
