i don’t get what this is pointing out doesn’t it make sense you’d call it a war only when the oppressed side starts fighting back?

I agree with you, I think the post is trying to say that we minimize the fuck out of violence women have been dealt with for centuries and only use a violent term “war” after women began to fight back. Like it wasn’t was always violently enforced.
