Honestly if it’s a pattern you seem to be noticing it could easily have something to do with the culture and society in which men are raised. It might make them more open to ignoring the potential harm or negative impacts something flashy and new has

There’s also a huge difference, though I can hardly except you to understand it, between “the right is evil” and “all right wing people are evil.” I have huge problems with the leadership and goals of the right but most right wing people are just misguided, including a lot of my family and a few of my friends

I agree that the general right wing in the US has huge problems with leadership and goals, but you surely understand the connotation of saying an ideology is evil right? If someone says some ideology is evil, you can reasonably infer that the people advocating for that ideology are being seen as evil or at least fundamentally less than. E.g. if someone says civil rights ideology is evil, what do they think about civil rights advocates
