I’ve spoken to older people, and it appears that girls are much more guarded these days and don’t appreciate strangers talking to them. Consequently, guys never approach and have never learned to approach, leading to a cumulative effect.

If I do approach and get a girl’s number the most that happens is she’ll grab dinner with me then I’ll never hear from her again. Similar with dating apps but sometimes we’ll hookup just once and nothing more. I haven’t talked to a woman more than 2 months the past 4 years I’ve dated.

Couldn’t have put it any better bro. I’d give a lot to feel pure again. All the hookups and unreciprocated interest made me so numb. Now I’m too guarded to develop feelings let alone make an effort. Idk what to do other than focus on myself
