I agree. Look at it from my perspective as a guy. I plan out the date and the next 3 after that (because you need to make reservations ahead of time), I get ready and I check on them 30min ahead of time just to make sure. They don’t even give you the time to respond. Look, at some point in time, you just need to respect yourself enough to say, if they don’t want what I could have offered, nothing I would have been able to give would have ever been enough. Pick yourself up and move on.

One more thing, I have been sick before and had to cancel but I always make it clear that I want to still date, notify them way ahead of time, and try to make plans to go on the date another time. This actually happened to my most recent. Things do happen and you want to find someone who is willing to put that effort towards you. If they won’t, that speaks of their character and not yours.
