I got into a (verbal) fight with my Uncle at a wedding reception this week because he said my 15 year old little sister would be “ripe and ready for the picking” in a year. Half my family is disgusted & half are saying he didn’t mean it “that” way.

My uncle touched my ass multiple times and somehow my family debates over the whole thing and his “intentions”. I don’t get why people are so stupid and will defend a creep. You did the right thing obviously, and I’m really disgusted that it’s still being questioned.

Ok… in what way did he mean it?!! Curious what the fucking argument could be there My include used to say things like “oh you looks so hot” and shit like it that made Me uncomfortable. I eventually lost it and was so rude to him saying “ idk how my aunt married you. I could have divorced you by now. You’re a creep. Who says that to their niece.” etc. it finally hit him one day and never said shit like that again

Honestly it’s only the boomer generation of the family who are making excuses and even flat out denying that he’d say such a thing/calling me a liar even though he said it in front of 4 people and admitted to it himself. Everyone else is disgusted.

Yeah, unfortunately a lot of the older members of my family are all about keeping up appearances & saving face so they’re more than happy to brush shit like this under the carpet. Not anymore.
