like especially if I’m talking about it and they’re like “I know this happens too many people” like sorry but I don’t kind of care about people right now. I care about how sexual assault happened to ME, how it made ME feel, how it changed ME, how i’m I feel right now.😭😭😭

obviously, I know other women go through this too, but I think everyone’s experience should be highlighted for them. I don’t think we should be telling people other people go through this too. It’s such a lonely experience and even if you could bond with someone over it, it’s still something that affects you directly.

I think what they mean by that is that other people are there and want to help support you. You’re not alone in facing your issues, because other people want to help you.
