I usually just dont engage with it or change the subject to give them a chance to maybe pick up on my vibe a little, if they dont get the hint i say hey im not ready for a physical connection before a strong emotional one and then when they eventually try pushing back on that its an instant block.

Well once you get blamed enough for bad things happening to you, you try to avoid getting yourself into those situations at all because you start to believe that you're the problem and it must be something you're doing wrong. Then you're alone :)
