I do my best to make time for everyone. I don’t just abandon them. I work full time and I’m getting my Masters degree and I’m married. I always make sure that they are okay and never cancel my plans with them even if I want to be with my husband. I don’t think that makes me a bad friend. That makes me an adult.

I feel like that’s the most difficult thing for young people. I’m glad my husband gets to be apart of my friend groups and I get to be apart of his. But we also get to be independent and be with our friends alone. It’s takes time to detach a little bit.

The way you responded made i seem like you never check in on your friends, but from this you actually do so I doubt they feel that way about you. I'm engaged and actually just finished my finals week for my masters and work full time, trust I know.

I just meant I can be all consuming I do my best to check but I know I lack sometimes. They tell me when I do lack. Because I’m human I lack at times. But I do my best
