It was Halloween, which is the night the cops in my college town are most on edge, expecting shit to go down, etc. My gf and her former roommate got in an altercation I didn’t see go down, I didn’t see my gf push the roommate girl, I did see the cop shove my girlfriend when he broke up the fight. I said some stupid choice words to him, made an empty threat, got cuffed, dragged to the car, told that threatening a cop is a felony and I shouldn’t be drinking so much if I can’t handle my shit.

They let me go after I apologized and explained that all I saw was a guy shoving my girlfriend, and the threat was stupid and empty, but the whole town was out for Halloween, and I had mfs in class the whole next week asking me about getting arrested on Halloween night.
