Why do people care so much about people’s past? I get to an extent but like getting insecure about it makes no sense to me I had a bf who had been with four people when I had been with none and i didn’t gaf 😭

i naturally get jealous when my bf mentions an ex (just like telling a story or smth) but i’m also aware that he had a whole life before he met me and that it’s normal and i had a life and past relationships too and i don’t get upset or cause a scene over it, the most ill do is playfully roll my eyes. i also get insecure, but only because im scared he compares me to them and wishes he was still with them. which isn’t healthy, but i can’t help it sometimes.

basically i think im trying to say i think its kind of natural and normal to be jealous and insecure about it, but you should also be mature enough and aware that its in the past, they cant change it, they didnt do it to hurt you, and everyone has a past and past relationships. theres no need to cause a scene or really bring it up or fight over it
