My wife never had one til she was 34 (likewise me but 27) but now we’re independent people who established great careers on our own and can do things autonomously but more together. A lot of people are fighting or getting into horrible relationships with people they don’t really know (my sister’s friend was in a year plus relationship with a dude who turned about to be running from the law in Canada and also already married but she had no idea.) It really doesn’t matter
