When religious ppl say dumb shit like 'When you flick a light switch, you dk how it works, you just have faith the light will turn on' it makes me want to bash my head into a wall. These people walk among us. They can vote. They might be your nurse.

I am easily rage-baited lmao But it's the fact that they genuinely believe evidence based science that is very easily explained is the same as blind faith 😭 like I actually know exactly how the switch triggers the bulb, you should probably pick up a book if you don't

Dude. I was an ER Tech in 2020-2022 and let's just say I'm now extremely distrustful of most healthcare providers 😬

I’d like to think they aren’t being literal but to be fair they could be haha

yup. I’ve been dependent on immunosuppressant meds since early childhood to manage my rheumatoid arthritis, and now when I need to go to the hospital for any reason, I have to really weigh my options re: whether or not it’s actually worth putting myself in that much danger

and that’s just on the covid / airborne virus mitigation front… I had to go to the ER for a gaping abscess last year and they tried to send me home wearing the same dirty bandage I showed up in. at this point I think dying young is far preferable to going through that type of shit when I need medical attention
