It’s been subtly pushed on us it to make it seem like less of a crime. There’s also a mass underground grooming of young girls going on right now through TikTok and discord through the bop culture. There’s also hundreds of TikTok trends full of minors making softcore with comment sections full of creepy men giving attention and algorithms definitely pushing it and glorifying predatory age gaps. OF models making accounts on their 18th birthday with influencers like clavicular marketing them.

there’s an ad for vacation rentals with a guy winking and asking his daughter if there’s “room for Dad” in the hot tub, an ad for Old Spice with really bizarre “boymom” energy, an ad for candy that says “juicy and sweet” while showing a child…?? like am I losing my mind????

idk, i can see advertisers putting children in ads more to make their product seem nonthreatening and their brand trustworthy, but i hadnt thought of it as pedophilic/incestuous, just sometimes insidiously nuclear-family-oriented? but at the same time i use a lot of adblockers so i don’t see a lot of ads anyways, i could be missing what you’re seeing
