It's not really easily financially possible today. I'm 29 and have been living like a peasant while working a high end tech job so I can get there. I've done the math on what it takes to actually do that in a stable way... i'll be ready in 3-5 years (depending on the war/economy) But my worry is for a woman to be able to have biologically healthy children 35 is a bit late to start. So I'll be like 35 looking for someone 25ish. In know even just saying this will get me hate, but I want that drea

I want that dream too. I really dont care what others think. I dont want to be at a stressful job when I have kids either which I why I need at least 1million put away before I start. I live in a shitty apartment (800/month), cook all my own food in a crock pot, I have a YMCA membership and work out in the morning (mostly swimming). I have a group of friends I swim with. I dont go out, I dont buy fun stuff, I dong even eat out.
