the restaurant industry totally normalizes trashing pounds of excess food for "measuring purposes" there's just gotta be another way to approach that, with famine on the rise, it doesn't sit right how much food I had to toss at closing.

any famine occurring today is a choice made by the worlds governments. scarcity is man made, there’s plenty of resources to go around and more. but that won’t be the case for much longer bc capitalism and endless growth is cancer and is incompatible with life.
