Definitely some women. But not me, I’m educated, make good money, & I’ve always worked hard and I just want someone equal to that who will make me feel cared for.

It’s not just from my experience. It also includes those around me, family, friends, acquaintances, random women that also complain about the same things. A lot of factors play into it. Most men weren’t raised to be as competent to care for others & be emotionally intelligent. And when they get older this shows significantly in their relationships. & god forbid they also had no examples of a man properly loving their mother whew.

Not to sound one sided but why we only talk about incompetent men? Why do we never talk about incompetent women or non binary people? Anyone can be incompetent. It’s not like men are raised differently than women. There might be different expectations of them though. When you say things like “most men” and base it off your own life experiences you’re just spreading misinformation.

You’re saying it like men are raised by different people than women which makes no sense. If a parent is emotionally damaged and passes that to their kids it happens to both kids. There might be differences in expectations based on gender but that is not how they are raised

How you were raised generally has to do with morals that are passed down that the kid also portrays. Not expectations from a child
