5 years ago today the current President helped plan and organize an attempted coup against thus country. Those who participated and the powers that be are and still are equally guilty of treason. And some of you all voted for him anyway. Clowns.

and yet he still lies and says they were unarmed when we have video evidence that they were armed with guns, tasers, axes, knives, bombs etc. trump pardoned them, even the ones responsible for the death of a police officer. trump pardons these criminals, and the drug traffickers who who fill his families pockets while deporting hard working people with no history of crime, who are following the legal path to citizenship. we r so desensitized that no one cares anymore. this country is a sick joke

It’s stupid to constantly complain about things that are out of your control instead of focusing on what you can actually change.

Everyone says it was a coup when he made no mention of telling people to riot, wanted a bipartisan investigation into voting irregularities, and even called for enhanced security on the capitol which was then denied by former Speaker Pelosi, but the narrative is to pretend this never happened It wasn’t a coup. It was a bunch of disgruntled people who were so lost in their own heads they couldn’t just protest like normal people.

Lol, the coup was the stolen election via fraud in Georgia and elsewhere.

my point is. winning the PLURALITY of people who voted isn't the same as the MAJORITY of people in the US. there's not a mandate, and he can't do whatever he wants just because he won the election. there is still more than half of the country that doesn't support his dumbass and that clown car cabinet of his

Well in simple terms he won the majority of votes. He won the most out of everyone. Doesn’t mean I support em you forget what the post was about?

Maybe this is our home and we don’t want to leave? God knows this country doesn’t create a financial environment that thrives enough for the average citizen to even get the money to leave. America used to be such a respectable and fair country. Your orange braindead leader has turned it into a literal clownshow.

Well, two is trying to say that you “technically” can't get majority if you are not above 50%, which Trump didn't get he just got 49.8 percent. That being said, I feel like, without getting hung up on words, we all understood what 6 meant, and that 2 was nitpicking wording, lol.

Not only that, the Biden administration then went out and hunted people down who had no affiliation to January 6 and nearly ruined their lives—there was an Alaska couple who experienced this first-hand. Like the guy or not, the fact of the matter is that J6 was not a coup and will never BE a coup. Those people were after all those crooked politicians—not just democrats. This is what happens when you get so entrenched into partisan politics you can no longer see the objective reality.

I think you need to reread the definition of coup, as, whether Trump incited it or not, the riot is a coup by definition. Also, I do think Trump played a role in it. Obviously he didn’t say “raid the capital, guys!” And I have yet to see anyone claim that. But I’ll attach part of the PBS article on the matter below. They sum it up pretty well.

Not wrong. Satirical, but not wrong. People need to ask themselves who, statistically, perform the greatest number of legal infractions and inconveniences that disrupt the lives people have worked hard to build. Burning buildings, destroying property, trespassing on private property, doxxing political opponents… The data does not statistically look good for left-wing beliefs under the guise of “morality.”

But by no means should ANYONE use that as an excuse to go and justify wrongdoing—ever. Just admit fault and move on. This world is going to annihilate itself with us caught in the crossfire the longer people pander to these petty political agendas. Right now, we’re teaching our CHILDREN that actions are without consequences when that simply isn’t true and that it’s okay to hate another person bc they disagree with their own beliefs. It’s time to move on—as a people, as a society.

No man was killed. Brian Sicknick died of natural causes later. Ashley Babbitt was an unarmed woman shot by a cop with a history of misconduct.
