I’ll tell you a bit of lore about me. I am 3, going on 4 years sober from all drugs and alcohol, and in my house I keep a personal collection of various substances and a well kept bar just in case I ever do want to relapse. Having it close keeps me sane.

Wow. That’s tempting innit? How do you refrain from drinking with it in view?

Not really. It’s nice to see. For me what’s tempting is not seeing it. Cuz then the trigger is buying it and getting it. Procuring product is the most fun part of the process for me . Like going to Toys R Us

I do! I like to collect exquisite and rare bottles. I don’t really buy the dry goods as much but the craziest thing happens when u get sober. MORE ppl give u this stuff for absolutely free way more often than back when i was using. Its crazy.

Mmmm. Totally understand. I’m in my own journey. Between working and school I haven’t had much time for personal discovery but imma be honest. A Nigga is depressed. What helped you find that peace in yourself?

I recommend these two books “The Six Pillars of Self Esteem” and “Breaking up with your phone” . They’re both pretty good and help me work on things. Also, “the power of Now” is great for being mindful. I’m usually the most depressed when I’m not in my body and being present, usually somewhere in the past or future but never where my feet are. Hope this helps young blud
