People commit suicide over getting cheated on
Yall downvoting but women literally get killed for cheating sometimes. Like cheating is bad and you shouldn’t do it, but it’s not ridiculous to say this.

It’s a psychologically damaging action that does deep level harm to their trust. People shouldn’t be defending it this much

Cheating is a horrible action to do to a partner and leaves really bad psychological damage so its not crazy for people to respond to it very negatively

#1 is like “sorry I did horrible things to you and that led to you committing suicide, sorry for you!” God damn

no one’s saying cheating isn’t bad, but acting like it’s the WORST thing someone can do is blowing it out of proportion. i was cheated on and it sucked but i def wouldn’t say it left psychological damage lol. also the op of that post does bring up a good point where men do have really weird feelings of ownership over their gf and her body

Cheating has directly led to suicides as the reason why. Stop acting like it doesnt

“Hey I cheated on you and that was the direct reason you harmed yourself. It’s your fault tho for doing it.” You’re so ignorant for saying these things don’t influence people at all.

that’s why you need to be able to handle your emotions 😭 people kill themselves for different reasons everyday. if i killed myself bc your comments made me so upset i didn’t want to be alive anymore, should you be responsible for that?

Yes and you’re ignorant for saying stuff like that doesn’t happen. If you have the option to push someone over the edge and you do it. You’re the problem

He’d be partial to blame yes. Objectively he influenced it. You’re ignoring objective fact. If those words led to it. They’re partially responsible. Objectively

yeah that’s not how responsibility works and the fact that you have such a distorted view of what responsibility actually is means that you probably shouldn’t be in a relationship. that suicidal boyfriend-eyebrow girl drama from a few years ago literally proved in a court of law what the standards for “responsibility” are
