First steps is setting an intention to lose it. 2nd step it actively trying to reach that goal. Buy a watch to track your steps, start walking 10k steps and figure out a time everyday you can do it. It’s only an hour of your day. Do it at the gym and watch a show or listen to something. You’ll feel lighter like, mentally. Start researching alternative meals and slowly cut out fast foods and processed foods. Replace alcohol/soda with water. You don’t have to go cold turkey
I am too, but I was underweight most of my life. I’m learning to love this new body, while also ensuring I still stay a healthy weight. Reminder that if you’ve spent a long time not eating, your body clings to fat more so there’s more to burn if you spend more time in starvation. Just make sure to eat what you need, and make it healthy.
That’s my situation; I’ve always been underweight (originally because I was naturally like that but then I started to have disordered eating)but over the past year I’ve been putting on weight and that’s been very difficult to cope with esp because I can’t just fix the way I eat bc I’ll just go back to how I was
