Be nice to the “weird kids” at school. A lot of them act out because they crave connection and want to connect with others but have get ostracized and feel that’s the only way to get it -an ex weird kid

Yeah my life was hell and school was the only safe space until it wasn’t. Just because I was fat, had interests, and dressed weird I was bullied.

Nearly everyone deserves basic decency, but at the same time nobody literally “deserves” real connection I think. Like if you are acting in a way that pushes people away, then that’s on them or that’s on you, but either way it is how it is

the mean “popular” ppl in high school are the same ones that peak in high school. all “popular” kids aren’t mean but the ones that are for sure hold on to their hs years

The thing you described I think is different from #1 btw. You described acting out due to craving connection, which is a serious thing and something people should be sympathetic to, but at the end of the day a personal issue. #1 talked about being actively shunned for being who they are. At that point this isn’t even a matter of real connection it’s just foul and cruel behavior
