this whole post was build on having insecurities, isn’t that kinda obvious? but it really is just a photo that you keep to yourself. you can delete it, share it, whatever you want. you don’t even have to look at it until you’re ready... we all have different levels of insecurity sure, and maybe i haven’t reached one where id kms over a photo, but you gotta work on that mindset
and to add onto my last comment, things that might be good for you doesn’t always feel like they’re good. it might suck the first, 10 or so times you do it. its just about reshaping how you visualize yourself and how you approach your insecurities on a more positive note. negative = negative and positive = positive because yes it really is that straightforward at the end of the day
and you not understanding this post and claiming ive never been insecure is quite ignorant, no wonder you’re so insecure you’re just negative. no one else is responsible for how you feel about yourself besides you man. only you can change it, so why not try? you have every power to do so
Maybe you haven’t considered the fact that insecurity doesn’t happen in isolation and some people are insecure because they aren’t attractive. And most people would think that. Telling people to focus even more on their looks doesn’t work for everyone because at the end of the day people are still gonna treat ugly people worse that attractive people.
“and most people would think that” that’s exactly your issue! attractiveness is a HUGE scale and what’s important is finding YOURSELF attractive. ofc 1 photo on the first time ain’t gonna work and sure might even make you feel bad. and if this thing doesn’t work for you at all, then it wasn’t meant for you and you can move on ez pz. but maybe you’ll realize that, damn maybe my hair didn’t actually look that bad that one day. then it’s finally a climb up instead of one that’s down
right so your plan is to just ignore the “problem” instead of ignoring the people… cuz that’s worked out so well, right? 🫤 ofc the world is going to leave SOME type of impact, but ultimately it’s up to people to make up their own mind about how things make them feel and how they react to it
Are you dense on purpose? I’m saying that for some people being unattractive is a fact of life and not an opinion they just came up with. You still ignore people’s feelings but you can recontextualize it. Instead of “I’m so ugly everyone is better than me.” Thinking “most people don’t think I am attractive, and that is their loss, because I have much more to offer than looks can buy”
Okay stop arguing. OP is most likely a conventional attractive person and their insecurities is probably from internal factors and not necessarily how people perceive them or what people have said to them. Which is very different from being insecure from being unconventionally attractive and your insecurities stemming from what people have said to you. Not condemning OP btw, I’m js saying different types of insecurities would obviously be navigated differently.
I used to think exactly what you think and it got me absolutely nowhere, except right back in front of the mirror picking apart the way I look and making myself feel worse. You just aren’t being receptive to the fact that your advice will actually make things worse for many people
When you’re insecure cause you KNOW that’s by societal’s standard you’re ugly, it’s hard to js tell yourself that you’re attractive and you find yourself attractive. A lot of the time what that’ll look like for most unconventionally attractive people is making peace with the fact that you’re not the standard and that’s okay. But telling people to js convince themselves that their attractive only works if you actually are (by societal’s standards)
