
idk i don’t think it boils women down to that. as a cis woman i feel so much identity in being feminine and being a woman and i don’t think we have the right to tell somebody what the can and can’t feel. not everything is made for us to understand and frankly we should be grateful that we don’t understand
i agree that women can be masculine and men can be feminine, which opens up the idea that gender is a construct. who are we to tell anyone how they should feel about where they land on the gender spectrum? who are we to decide what people can and can’t do to their bodies to feel more in line with whwre they are on the spectrum? what’s the difference between a boob job and top surgery? they’re both gender affirming care
I think it can be said that most men who desire to transition have it happen because they repressed their femininity for too long and therefore overexpress it but I don’t think its healthy to overencourage it and most women who transtition due so because they do not feel like the medias representation of what a women should be
