Am I the only one who is a strong supporter of LGBTQ… but not really sure about the trans stuff? When I have kids one day I’d be mortified if they wanted to transition

I am a supporter of freedom and self expression but find trans and adjacent stuff to be a form a self hatred in a way idk no strong feelings tho

I completely agree. people need to learn to love the body they were born with. Transitioning is a form of self hatred and we should stop supporting this garbage.

I agree.. I think it’s one thing to have a different gender identity. But a literal sex change??? That’s actually wild. I don’t understand why it’s so normalized

idk i don’t think it boils women down to that. as a cis woman i feel so much identity in being feminine and being a woman and i don’t think we have the right to tell somebody what the can and can’t feel. not everything is made for us to understand and frankly we should be grateful that we don’t understand

i agree that women can be masculine and men can be feminine, which opens up the idea that gender is a construct. who are we to tell anyone how they should feel about where they land on the gender spectrum? who are we to decide what people can and can’t do to their bodies to feel more in line with whwre they are on the spectrum? what’s the difference between a boob job and top surgery? they’re both gender affirming care

I think it can be said that most men who desire to transition have it happen because they repressed their femininity for too long and therefore overexpress it but I don’t think its healthy to overencourage it and most women who transtition due so because they do not feel like the medias representation of what a women should be

and maybe that’s the case! but who are we to deny anyone anything that makes them feel more at peace with themselves and literally less likely to try and commit suicide

One can also see it as them testing their boundaries for how much people around them will accept somewhat crazy talk and keep testing maybe hoping someone says nah youre crazy
