I kissed my best friend (who has been crushing on me for years) and I’m not over my ex. I’ve told them that whatever happens, they shouldn’t let it get to them and they understand that. But I can’t help feeling like shit about it

I was able to get the closure I needed and things have worked in their own way from there. I know it sounds rushed to many and that it won’t work out. It makes sense and I would question it too. I am very happy with them (best friend) and have seen them the same way I saw them many years ago. (There’s prior history).

i think there’s more important things that count for a relationship than the amount of time you’ve been together. some people date wayyy longer before getting married and they’re unhappy. As long as you and your partner love and respect each other that’s awesome! and I’m happy u got to feel that love with your best friend!

Oh, I’m 100% with you. We have been facing some challenges as any two people together do, but we have been working through them an actively communicate with one another. We want this to work and it shows.
