
You’re not wrong, but I think they say like oh both sides have a point you have to consider both sides. About how like oh they’re not extreme they’re not left or right. When we say both sides are just as bad that person is as often is not going to be a communist pointing out how communist organizing is illegal under liberal democracy. How both political parties are united in their oppression of the working class.
right wing libertarian is a huge red flag, but i wouldn't say left wing libertarian is inherently a red flag. i think it depends on his views of politics. does he hate the political system we have and the politicians? or does he stick his head in the sand and call himself anti-politics?
he’s well aware of what is happening in the political sphere, i think more than me actually. to be honest i’ve never inquired very hard about his political beliefs. i know he dislikes republicans and i also know he dislikes democrats. but he also believes that abortion is healthcare, is an ally (he has many LGBTQ friends and supports them). that being said he is also thinks in a free market in capitalism which is aligns with right wing libertarianism.
