I’m not saying there’s anything inherently good or bad about your job, but just that it sounds like you don’t feel you have a compelling path /progression in front of you to put your efforts into and derive purpose from

Yes exactly. Clearly there is some miss alignment between how you spend your time and what would actually challenge you and give you a sense of progress and accomplishment. And I’m not saying that’s trivial to find but I think that’s probably the end goal that fixes your issue
