My mom takes wegovy. She can decrease her weight with diet and exercise, but for most of her life she’s been unable to KEEP the weight off. She was starting to get severe pain in her hips and lower back from the excess weight and the strain bending over would put on her back specifically. It was bad enough she was losing sleep from the pain. Now, she feels much better. So yes, if you can get the weight off and keep it off with diet and exercise you should, but-
