Can’t believe I have to say this but if you have videos of you having sex with someone on your phone, don’t send those videos to someone else without the participants consent. That is sexual harassment at best and revenge porn at worst

Like; I might be boring, but I will never record a sex video on my phone. Want one of us on yours, cool. But like I don’t even want access cuz I feel like it’s just a liability. If you send it out to your friends, w/e just another dick on the internet 🤷‍♂️

1. Young and in love first relationship you aren’t thinking “oh what if they show this to other people?” There is a blind trust that goes into your relationship when you love them. 2. Coercion into filming or feeling guilty for not wanting to, the type of people to share intimate photos & keep them after you break up are the same people who will pressure you into sending them. 3. What if you’ve been with them for years? Or you’re married or engaged? At what point is it reasonable to fully trust?

upvote 1 downvote
⚒️
Anonymous replying to -> #11 11w

You don’t know the experiences and context of all of the victims of revenge porn so victim blaming and just being condescending is really stupid. The people at fault for revenge porn is solely the people who share their partner’s personal videos with other people.

upvote 2 downvote
⚒️
Anonymous replying to -> #11 11w

You can warn teens away from things like filming with their partners, but when you come in saying “or just don’t film anything in the first place” directed at the people who get their videos shared and not the ones doing the sharing when this posts is directly about the people holding onto videos of their exes and sharing them, that IS victim blaming because it’s changing the topic from “if you do this, you’re bad” to “well *other* shouldn’t have done this in the first place”

Long distance relationships especially during college for a few months a year is very normal and a lot of people feel more comfortable with seeing them and/or their partner in a video or photo more than their partner watching pornography which they are much much more likely to do than not. So it’s not that strange. Also a kink thing for some people
