Honestly real. I think part of it is just the syllables that women is longer so it’s easier to just say girls, but a lot of it is sexism being extremely normalized in our language for everything and so is pedophilia

Like if you refer to men as boys too then it’s still weird but a little less. But why call men men and women girls
