If I were you I would focus on math also. It will open you up to a lot of other jobs.

Same. It’s not too necessary but for game dev it might be helpful, but I’m pretty sure the engines do all the heavy math for you.

It never hurts to learn it though, wish I did because I was an informatics major and feel way behind on cs majors on DSA and algebra
