Working on a group project with the one guy who doesn’t contribute. I’ve done 99% of it over the last 3 weeks with prof input/approval. Today he tells me he committed and pushed an update to the repo Half of it is replaced with dysfunctional bs. Dawg.

Honestly AI would’ve prob done better than whatever the hell he pushed 💀. Luckily I’m the owner of the repo (I had a feeling something like this would happen with him so I took initiative) so I was able to just completely overwrite the horrific goring my poor code had gone through. It’s crazy cuz it’s due in 2 days and basically all done, hell, the professor reviewed what I already did and said it was perfect and met all requirements, and somehow he still fucked it up.

I had a sinking feeling that it was good old fashioned poor human code, but I wanted to hold out hope that he wasn’t totally incompetent and spent ages rewriting working code as opposed to just going “Claude, fix this” and letting it run while he microwaves more tendies.
