I mean using AI doesn’t necessarily mean you don’t use your brain it’s a tool. I’ve used it for combing through forums for troubleshooting purposes, its much faster than using a classic search engine

You can make one without learning if you just want to make a game and don't care about learning to code, get a Claude subscription

Probably YouTube. (Idk tho cos I never learned Roblox programming lol.) Or you could throw money at a robot like #2 suggested if you don’t want anything to be proud of. 👍🏽

I love how we see someone interested in LEARNING something and instead of giving them a useful resource we point them towards AI instead. Heaven forbid someone use their own brain. But yes youtube has a lot of great resources on coding and developing roblox games. If you are new to coding completely it could be helpful to watch/follow an introductory programming course just to help understand some core principles like loops, if statements, and classes

Bro sybau, you're not better than me bc you only code by hand. I was careful to clarify "if you're not interested in learning"

Bro wtf? Hackathon is actually insane that would genuinely piss me off, homework I would understand but not competitions

I was just a part of one where incorporating ai elements was part of the prompt lol… to each their own 🤷‍♀️

Our team wanted to ship an entire product and we’re only given 12 hours. None of us were really interested in front end and there were no restrictions in using AI, in fact there was actually a special prize specifically for if you integrated the Gemini api into your project. Times are changing, and outside of hw assignments AI is being used everywhere to boost efficiency, you either adapt to it or get left behind

Omg 😭 the cs department at my university turned off ai for the day on the WiFi to prevent students and the student guests from using it

AI removes the fun out of it, :( Also can’t code advanced game options like humans can. I mean maybe Claude can, but I can’t afford the 200$ option.
