It’s concatenating string slices so it doesn’t need it. my_str[3] and my_str[14:] aren’t in the quotes and they return strings anyway so the code is valid

No I don’t know the fancy name for it but it could be print(“I am”, my_str[3] + my_str[:14]) It puts the space there for you after I am, no?
