i did this back in 2019 bc i’m unc and it took me days turns out the bootloader wasn’t updated for the chip i had yet had to use some random iso on the forums

you can literally flash arch on a USB, install it on a computer, and set up a working desktop environment in under 30 minutes

I was stupid and tried to use a 13 year old flash drive that worked on my windows machine just fine, but would not boot on my new computer at all. Ended up going to the store and buying a new flash drive and having to start over
