Pls i need advice! Im a sophomore in cs and will most likely finish linear algebra with a C. Either i keep it and have a 3.2 gpa or withdrawal and have a 3.7. Pls help!

drop it or withdraw, keep ur gpa up if you wanna go to grad school. otherwise, no one cares about ur courses for internships, only that you can code

i don’t think ur gpa matters as much as you think for internship recruiting. most government agencies want a 3.0 minimum (can go to 3.5 for some), and if you are trying to do quant trading, or consulting (which lowkey, i think both of these are just school name which is unfortunate) i haven’t seen it matter much in my swe search as a 3.0 flat student compared to my peers at my university (where the median for cs is closer to 3.5).
