Been in grad school for a few years. Interviewed for a new position this week. Interview was super weird. 60-70k. HCOLA What panel was saying just didn’t make any sense, finally asked. They wanted a software administrator, programmer, and oh btw, they were planning on canceling the support contract with the vendor, and expected this position to take on all the responsibly. Literally ended the interview with, “Thanks, but the scope of this role seems to far exceed my skill set. Goodluck.”

I’ve discovered that “Senior” means “doesn’t know how to use MTR nor know what an FD is”. You’re fine.
