Are certs worth anything if I have no experience?

Maybe for cloud, IT or cybersec stuff but for SWE build projects. Start from tutorials and then make ideas that u think people could use irl and try to get some users. Helps more than people think

They are more for applied cs in other fields. I know some people going for the claude code one

No experience j makes them harder to get but id say they are worth it if u have the time for them. Certs cost a lot of time and money so if u dont have them id wait off till like the last two years of college personally

think about things you need that there isn’t a service for, I wanted to be able to calculate my macros easily so I made a service that scraped my campus’s dining website to get the macros of dining hall food, the more applicable it is to your life the more motivated you’ll be
