nono this is very real. it’s less that comp sci does this to people and more that people who are closeted tend to gravitate towards comp sci for a few different reasons i could list if you’d like. this is true even when the closeted people don’t realize they’re closeted. they tend to figure things out during the part of their life where they’re gaining independence and maybe even stability. maslow’s pyramid n all that. but yeah for the bit, comp sci turns people trans and genderqueer
