i’m a sophomore and i’m yet to apply for internships like I have a fellowship and some club experience but that’s it on my resume and my github is basically almost empty am I cooked i’m so scared like let a girl live in peace 😔😔

the hierarchy and cOmpEtItOn is fucking insane. I switched out rather than live the rest of my life around hyper competitive techbro freaks. the idea that i'm supposed to spend free time bolstering my fucking resume (out of ostensible passion) is so sick. accountants don't have to do budgets for fun. if coding is a competition we've all already lost to AI, not to mention the psychos endlessly pushing code
