At this point I'd buy myself a Mac Studio and run everything off that than pay another LLM/agent subscription again

Yeahhh I just tried some locals on my Mac studio today. There's NOTHING close to cloud unfortunately -- it boggles my mind when I see people complimenting local models because they've all been so hollow and tepid

I’m all for local LLMs but they just don’t compare to the best of the best and also require a lot of hardware to run which I can’t really afford to get remotely comparable results
