
hi, I’m an automation engineer! Started as an intern and now working full time :) I would say learning how to use some sort of testing software is a great place to start (eg. I use Pytest + Playwright). Not sure about projects, but practicing being able to locate/click/interact with web pages would be good. Knowing the basics of manual testing could also help you stand out, even when working on automation. Clear/concise writing is also a good skill for reporting bugs. Not sure if that helps 😅
