I feel you, I interviewed for a position last month, and the interview basically went like [Job description says we’re looking for a software administrator] “I am a skilled software admin.””Well, what development work have you done?” “Well the job description, never mentioned development, but I’ve done XYZ projects.” “Oh, so how do you feel about being 24/7 on call server support if we cancel the maintenance contract with the vendor” “uhh what?!?” Yeah, some of these jobs are CRAZY.
