I’m a sophomore and I was wondering (for those graduated or with internships) what I need to do to get an internship and what i would need to do after college to get a job and what would make me stand out(for both)?

For networking I mean literally just that.. a lot of my interviews came from talking to ppl at career fairs and stuff, and my other ones came from talking to people randomly. I got a few from cold applying, but the talking to people about things you’ve done an getting connected is by far the easiest way. As a sophomore there’s a lot of programs u can do.. i know Citi does EID and the banks all have “sophmore stuff” like leadership stuff… doesn’t guarantee but makes stuff a lot more likely

Idk about jobs and all that, but I did just now get an internship, so ig I can give some advice tho I bet better advice will come later! For starters, don’t stress a lot, ur a sophomore u have time and thrrr is still time for this summer. For internships in my (limited) experience, I would say be prepared, always. Be ready for ur technical interview and be ready for ur behavioral, even when u apply so that if it comes u are ready for it. And the only other real advice I got for ya is to network.
