coding and talking very different skills but are skills nonetheless. It comes down to practice put in enough time and you’ll eventually get good at it. I’m super socially anxious like you and that might never fully go away but branching out of my comfort zone getting into spaces that require me to communicate has done wonders for my journey. You can do this, Just like OOP principles break the problem and you’ll solve it before you know it!

Not necessarily, no. But you’re making things harder for yourself by not doing that. At least do something to give yourself work experience you can write down on a résumé.

Internships and connections are like the clubs and extra curricular’s on your college app, can you get away without them, maybe, but if you wanna be competitive you need some work experience to be able to tout on your resume. If you wanna pull the socially anxious card, join some open source projects online, but like if you legit can’t talk to people you’re gonna struggle working on projects with other people, so there isn’t really an opt out option. It’s very rare for a coder to operate solo.

CS has been colonized by extroverts in recent decades. Bring socially anxious isn't a flaw - you'll naturally relax with age. Job odds are shit for everyone with or without credentialism

Your gonna put your career search on x100 times harder difficulty. Internships are not only great work experience but also career search and interview experience.
